I played my acoustic for the first time in a long time with the band. I thought it sounded so good and fresh. I may continue playing it for a while. It’s so raw and less cumbersome as the electric. Plus there’s less EQing. The band was right on even though Heather (piano) was feeling sick. Jake hasn’t played bass with us since his deployment last year to Afghanistan so it was very nice having him back on stage with us. Hate to see him PCS out in two months. Georgia’s getting a great man!

I shared a great prayer by Charles Wesley.

Sovereign Father, heavenly King,
Thee we now presume to sing;
Glad thine attributes confess,
Glorious all, and numberless.

We had an amazing time at church. The place was packed again and there were so many new people I started introducing myself to myself. Pastor brought an amazing message. Some of the things he talked about are things people don’t wanna talk about but they need saying.

We also had a leadership meeting today that outlines some direction of where our church is heading. I’m looking forward to seeing what Xtreme will look like in five years. Lots of good stuff happening in Xtreme when it comes to God and this city!
