Worship Rewind 2013

Awesome day. I’m pooped. Really pooped. We had two services of great worship, I had my tent and backpacking supplies set up so folks could get a visual of our Men’s Hiking Trip in June and I taught an hour long class of Essentials 201 in GraceLife University today.

Worship started with Holy and Anointed One, a song by one of my favorite worship leaders. I love to sing it but it’s not like a top ten song on the billboards or anything. We kind of do our own version of it. The original is quite slower. We just have fun with it.

After announcements and welcome, we played some more Jesus songs so we wouldn’t contract scabies. Lol (Inside joke). We went into New Doxology. Another song that I just can’t get enough of. We’ve been doing it for near five years now at GraceLife.

After New Doxology, we transitioned into Overcome. Heather did a great job of holding the pads while Kaven played the intro. Huge commendation to them guys for such an awesome transition they did between songs.

Eddie led us in Because Of Who You Are. I’m thankful for finally getting this guy on stage with us. He’s amazing and in true black  gospel form, he didn’t stick to script and definitely had to lead even the musicians through the song. I loved it. We just had a fun time in worship today.

After church, I basically taught Christianity 101 in our Essentials class for GraceLife University. I love teaching faith essentials. It’s fun to invest into new comers of the faith and this material is the foundation for which we build our faith. Good stuff.

Now… a nap!!!!
