11.3.13 Worship Rewind

Worship Rewind 2013

Long day. I’m tired. Worship was great. Because today was our last day in our worship space, we moved EVERYTHING out. It’s an empty shell and like Pastor Carlo talked about today, there are so many memories and monuments that have built inside of those walls. But now we move on. God has great things in store for GraceLife and I can’t wait to see what’s next in store. Next week we start meeting at the Kleeman Center. We’re still the church. We’re still GraceLife. That has not changed. The only thing that has changed is the address and that has never stopped God from His amazing work.

I don’t have really much to say about the songs individually. The band sounded great and no big blunders. I think we need to invest in a new instrument cable for our bassist. He blamed his dropping out on the chord. Lol. I also am glad we don’t use those “rubber” hotrods any more. We had taken the drum shield down due to the move and to keep the noise down Thomas used those sticks again and I didn’t enjoy that part. Those sticks may have their place but I’m not convinced that place is not on our worship team. Also missed our pianist who’s been sick all week,

but…

She did show up at second service because we had a competition that involved her. All month our Children’s Director (my wife) had been doing a fund-raiser to raise money for our new kid’s check-in system. Two contestants had jars set out and the one who gained the most money got a pie in the face. Pastor Carlo received that pie from Heather and it was worth it. However, he did say his Beard smelled good the rest of the day. Thanks GraceLife for all your giving.

Another milestone in the life of GraceLife achieved. What’s next God? I know it’ll be EPIC!

  1. I have no doubt that God will know where to find us next Sunday.
