3.2.14 Worship Rewind

Worship Rewind 2013

It was a great day today at GraceLife. No really, it was! We had some good bantering amongst the worship team talking about the next new song we will be bringing in soon. I got to spend some time teaching our keys player some new ideas. Well I say teaching. It was more of telling her about a documentary with Bob the homeless man (inside joke).

It’s been a while since we played For Your Glory. Sometimes, Tony, our bass player will sing it when he leads worship but it’s been a while since I’ve led it.

After the first song, Jaemi talked to us about March Madness with Manna Cafe, a local food ministry. They do awesome work helping families in this city with food.

God You Reign is another song that’s been a while since we’ve played it. Before we played it, I read Psalm 99. Powerful psalm about God’s holiness and reigning supremely over all things.

We finished with one of my favorite songs King of Glory and although it’s an older song (I’m ok with that), GraceLife Worship simply does an amazing job with this song.

I really felt God was moving at church today. Worship was happening. People were being moved by the Holy Spirit. Just an amazing day today.

We also had some new folks today. It was good to see new faces. If you’re a GraceLifer, make sure to invite folks to our new series coming up. It’s about the baggages we carry and how God can handle them.
